I made some calculations, and due to some unexpected travel, I will be at about 40 rental days this year.
I wrote Avis an email asking for my total number of days for the year; the answer was 11. I wrote back stating that it should be in the lower forties and thus, I should qualify for Avis First.
Today, I received an email stating that international rentals (the bulk of my rentals) do not qualify for Avis First.
Does anyone know if it specifically says that on the website? If so, there really is no point for me in staying with Avis, especially since I'm #1 Gold on Hertz as well.
