Don't overlook your mileage earning opportunities with AA to Europe out of Newark, too. If you connect at ORD or DFW on the way across the Atlantic, your AA mileage earning opportunities will surpass what CO would offer you on a nonstop from EWR. For instance, EWR-DFW-FRA is over 6,500 miles one way, while the nonstop on CO is under 3,900 miles. With AA you're getting just about the same amount of miles I bring in from SFO.
