Let me see if I understand the OP correctly: Her credit card was charged for the night AND the points were kept. No way.I totally understanding charging the CC since that is clear in the T & C. This gave the property it's money for not being able to rerent the room, and made the property whole. But keeping the points on top of that? Unless I am missing something, and I am sure someone here will let me know if I am, there is no justification for taking the additional step of keeping the points. If the OP has not done so, the OP should call the Rewards number and explain that her CC was charged for the night and that the points were, in effect, not used.
