Thanks all for input

SpaceBass, if there's a Mrs SB, she's gotta luv you

12/8/07- This is for an existing home(though OP's post was asking about-custom new home)

I had already ordered my DSL splitter, got one off ebay for my NID, so I'll be doing my splitting before it ever gets into the house.Homerun from there to my panel.

I will not be running conduit, Just some J-Hooks on bottom of joists.

Still undecided what wiring to choose. The more I think about the structured stuff, the less inclined I am to use it.
Sill having a hard time convincing myself to spend extra on an all Cat6 solution

I'm roughing in some boxes today for Home Theater Speakers. Looked all over Raleigh, NC to find some 14/4 or 12/4 in wall wire and NONE was to be had, had to order on-line

I decided on a Channel Vision Enclosure-found a he!!of deal on a 38"DD(that's double door) box, from of all places Buy.com HERE
It's way more than I'll ever need(aren't most 38DDs) but it was 58 bucks shipped. One thing about a box this size I can just use good ol rackmount patch panels.

If anyone's looking for a small complete solution
HomeTechnology Store has a decent deal on an 8 zone cable, phone, data, enclosure package($199) and you don't have to worry about what parts to get-plug and go. It's Here
