I would go with UA if you can snag an UD seat (744).
The flight attendants on LH are attentive and the AVOD is very nice. However, the food is no better and the seats while electronic are the garden variety slanted flat bed. For such a long flight it can be annoying to some to be angled. Plus any MP bennies earned on UA metal would be a plus.
If you have not tried C on LH is there a way to do both? That way you will know which you prefer for the future.

Huh? Row 11 has less legroom and is near the lavatory which you can hear the whole flight. IMO Row 13 is the best on XC/XI
