Does anyone have a recent update on this hotel? I haven't been since AUgust, but am about to start a 6 month project in Norfolk, and need to decide between this property and the Marriott (probably Courtyard). If the answer is Marriott, time to start looking for a status match (too bad, did well with SPG this year with 50 stays and 133 nights).
Why does it have to be either/or? Can't you stay at the Sheraton some of the time and the Courtyard some of the time? Or even include other hotels in the "rotation?"
If your stays are too lengthy (i.e., an unbroken stay of more than 30 days), you'll probably cease to earn points anyhow.
If I were on a six-month project, I think that staying in the same hotel all the time would drive me mad!
