So I was on AA from JFK-San Jose CA and the flight was delayed because a passenger wouldn't move out of First Class back to his Y seat. He was reluctant to move so the flight attendant said if you don't move we'll call the authorities. Now mind you this was my seat this person was trying to steal from me who worked hard to get the seat, I was trying to tell the guy that it's a privilege not a right to fly First Class. So when the authorities came. I told them jokingly this man was trying to take my fillet mignon, ice cream sundae, my wine and beer etc. I told the police you better take him off of here before he tries to take the pre-departure drinks. And so the officer did.

The funny part was the flight attendant said this guy seemed to be a professional free-loader of American Airlines. Anyways AA gave me a lot of bonus miles and reversed the upgrade points so I could use those miles again on another flight. I was standing for 20 minutes tired after a long day. As a thank-you for my inconvenience I was given a bottle of Grahm's Port to take home. It seemed like they had this on transcon flights and there was an extra bottle that wasn't going to be used.

So the delay turned into a plus for me.
