Hello, if I may, I would like to post a semi-related question regarding cell phone service in India...

ATT's Go Phone Prepaid service has a Pantech C120 for $20new/$15Refurbed.

These phones are quad band or at least tri-band:
ATT advertises as "Exclusive quad-band world phone"
but on the details it only says "Tri-band international phone" and "Tri-band world phone 850/1800/1900 MHz"

(GSM 1800 in Gujarat, where I'm visiting according to the GSM info ).

If I am able to unlock the phone as described here:

(although I'm not sure if it works)

then it should be all ready to use in India, right?
