BA sometimes advertise upgrades at check-in, usually on oversold flights. I've only seen them for WT to WT+ from SFO and IAD where the amounts vary between $150 and $250.

You can pay onboard to upgrade to CW if space is available, expect to pay around £600 or more one way from WT+.
