Thank you, everyone, for your help and hospitality.

After visiting both UAF and UI... it was a very tough call. Great programs, great people... but there's only one which can claim that it's America's arctic university.

I'll be attending the University of Alaska Fairbanks beginning in the spring, double-majoring in journalism and northern studies, and living in the on-campus student apartment complex.

When I stepped out of the terminal in Fairbanks... I fell in love with Alaska. I think it's going to be an amazing place to go to college.

I look forward to seeing the AK FT crew more often.
