Strangely today, somewhere over Iowa en route to the west coast, I caught a tmobile signal for about 1.5 minutes on a 777.
When I saw the tmobile pop up w/ full bars, my jaw dropped.
There have been several times that people have recieved a cell phone signal over Iowa, Nebraska, and Denver. I've had a pilot tell me he made a 2 minute phone call over Iowa before.
