I recently spent 90k RDM for a C ticket that would have cost $8,000. That's 8.89 cents a mile, which is pretty good. Of course, I wouldn't have paid the $8k. My "break point" -- i.e., the amount of cash I personally would part with in order to get the C seat is about $1500-1800...which is 1.6-2 cents a mile. Same thing.
