Hi ,

Occasionally after take off from IAD ( and at night)I have seen a few sights from the RHS of the aircraft. The Washington Monument and the Mall form good vantage points from which to get your bearings to spot other DC landmarks ( same with the approach in good weather) but in reality IAD is too far from Downtown Washington to get good views at all.

Regards

TBS
