Funny you ask though...couple of days ago I was wondering at what $$ figure EQMs would price. Did a search here and found a thread from 2004, I think, that (consensus) estimated EQMs at $.05 per mile. I wonder, given the increase in fuel and ticket prices since then, if that EQM estimate is now higher?
I don't think it's really possible to pu a price on EQM's, since they only count for elite qualification that year. For example, my value for EQM's would be very high if I ended the year with 99,000 EQM's, but if I was at 100K EQM's it would be very low, since I hardly have a use for them. One of those things which truly is on a case by case basis and hard to truly answer, IMO.
