Becareful, one of the easiest ways to hack into someones laptop is to masqurade as a trusted wifi hotspot, tmobile, linksys, netgear, concourse etc. Most users have the (dumb) default setting in Windows that will automatically connect to any AP that broadcasts those names. With a laptop and any wifi nic one could "become" an AP very easily.
