Does anyone have more information on Turkish joining *A? I've seen the join date in April on the Star Alliance site, but does anyone know when I'll be able to make Star Alliance award bookings with them?

I'm going to Turkey on my honeymoon in June (from BCN) and currently the option to Izmir is LH, wondering if Turkish would be better in biz and better hospitality (and a stop in Istanbul maybe).
