No doubt. I recall when Embassy Suites was the darling of the mid-tier hotel chains. Now that they have a few years on them, some of the properties are less than spectacular - even though the concept is still sound

But for right now, HGI is THE slam-dunk in its category. If I were a competing chain, I wouldn't just wait around waiting for the HGIs to get old.
