Dunno about Expedia, but our corporate travel site (AMEX web portal) allows us to request an upgrade. Though, if you're elite and put in your Skymiles # not sure why you would need to.... and if you can't put in your Skymiles #, as previously posted, just go to DL.com after the fact or call SMS.
