Is there gate checkin at ORD, or does everyone have to get a boarding pass before going through security now? The phone agent I talked to a couple days ago said there was no gate check-in, but I know they can be misinformed at times.

I don't see how eliminating gate check-in would make things more secure. Just much longer for everyone (including people checking bags).
