According to reports here on FT there was some change regarding the possible airline combinations earlier this year, but it's still very unclear.
To make things more complicated: All older non*A M&M Partners use their own mileage chart. All new (since 2007) M&M Partners (TK, ET, MS, KC) use the Star Alliance Award chart without being *A member - any impact on combinability? (As TACA is set to join M&M, they will probably use the Star Alliance Award chart, too.)
IMO, at least a combination of airline partner + LH/LX/OS/LO should be possible.
