As I lecture on this subject (Employee Relations) I have concerns because
a. There is significant research evidence that the day prior to a strike is often when people go off sick as it usually works to their advantage to preserve their pay.
b. Given the time of year delays due to weather can spill over a day
c. Weather plus impending strike action is not a good combination!!
d. I actually have to go through 2 BAA airports on 26 Dec
