Understand, but this is the US Air telephone reservations that I'm booking through.

If the airline can't create a ticket/receipt system that allows its own booking fees to be printed, then something is seriously wrong.

You do bring up an interesting point - if I were to make a change to a ticket I booked through US Air telephone reservations, will they charge me another $10 to make the change?

I'll probably never find out, since I will stick to WN as much as possible from now on. @:-)

WN doesn't charge for making reservations through its own website or telephone reservations department. Their no bull purchasing policies make it crystal clear and transparent to a business flier like myself what I'm facing when I look at WN fares, unlike US Air.

US Air needs to re-evaluate its handling of the telephone reservation fees. They are charging their best customers - ie business fliers who often fly last minute, pay full fares - with this extra $10 handling fee. Why not just bump up the fare by $10 to cover the damn fee and give their best customers a break with the bull fee?

As a business flier who flies last minute, pays full fares, this US Air policy has definitely made up my mind that I'll be flying else where. Thanks to US Air for making it abundantly clear that they do not want my business.
