It happened at LAX. I think what annoyed me was I'd had the same check in agent before, he was trying to blame it on TSA, this is the hand carry I usually have, they've never weighed it before - it has the same general stuff it always has. I'll admit I carry too much stuff - trust me, my shoulders feel it! But I HAVE to have a variety of stuff with me for work - I have an 8 hour layover in Hong Kong because I have meetings all afternoon before heading to XMN. Additionally, I carry all my medicines (as instructed to do so) in their original bottles and unfortunately I have 12 different medicines just for asthma/allergies which I desperately need going into pollution filled China

Actually, I'm probably 4 kilos lighter in handcarry than I was two weeks ago, fwiw!
