Funny, just today I checked into a Hampton Inn which marks like my 26th stay in a hampton inn this year. The lady asked for ID to which I quickly shot back "Why? I've stayed at 26 other Hamptons this year and none have even asked for ID"

Then her boss came over and said I'm OK because gold and higher (i'm diamond) don't need ID.

The lady at the counter was babbling about how most people like it and it's for my protection... I said Visa and Mastercard forbid the practice. That I prefer for people to not see my license number.
