It seems that the winter 2008/2009 will remain with the A340. For me this makes sense:

LH offers an additional flight to Dubai for business travellers and gives them more choices to Dubai in the summer. The A340 in the winter offers additonal space for tourists. Who wants to go to Dubai for holidays in the summer? Noo, way too hot
