Ah, now I know where it is! I went to college in Holland (Hope College) & knew there was a new Doubletree there, but couldn't quite picture where it was located.

I thought it was a new property; didn't realize they took over the Holiday Inn (I flew back to Holland a year ago for a wedding; the reception was at the then-HI).

BTW - I was going to book it for alumni reunion weekend next May, but it's the 'trifecta' - graduation weekend/alumni reunion weekend/Tulip Time. Doubletree is showing rates north of $300+ . Heck, even the Hampton Inn (which used to be reasonable) is quite pricey for that weekend. Instead, I've booked the Residence Inn.

Thanks for the update. If I'm back at a time other than the trifecta & rate are more reasonable I'll check it out.
