I happen to live about 30 seconds from this property. I have not been in the hotel, but looked at condos there years ago. From the hotel you can easily walk to the MetroMover (free public train) which can take you downtown. There is not much else in walking distance except the new performing arts center, but the hotel is very convenient to a lot of areas by car. Drive across the Venetian Causeway ($1.50 toll) and you are in South Beach. Let me know if you have any specific questions.
