Since AA allows one to upgrade any international fare (except for e-fares, methinks), UA would be ticking a lot of their 1Ks off by not issuing the SWU in the future. Furthermore, AA now issues their equivalent of SWUs (don't remember the name of them) to their Executive Plats, so I would think twice about flying 150K on UA and 50K on AA and reverse those numbers in order to upgrade (with either miles or certs) the International flights I take. Hope UA doesn't think we are flying their airline only for their domestic FC linen-less service.
