I once had a 1/2 eaten strawberry placed back on the "fruit bowl" stemside up so it was not noticeable until after I had eaten some of the other fruit. The flight attendant was so embarassed - I was in row 1 of a 727, so there was no way it happened onboard - apparently "fun and games" had been going on in the Oakland kitchens.
