In other words, a AA PLT/EXP needs to fly 67.5K miles for such redemption, and a CX member, regardless of status, need to fly 220K for the same redemption. Just are there are YBHK... fares, availability is of course different too.
Oops, I should also clarify that getting award is not that difficult for me because I am CX DM. For GO/SL/GR, that may not be the case. Also, for the example I gave on JFK-HKG, it is difficult even for me - the flights are typically pretty full in J and F.
