It would say so in the fare rules for your ticket. It is not allowed on some of the cheaper N fares, but it is allowed on all of the others.
If you can't access the fare rules, you could say what the fare basis code is and the
base fare you paid and I could try to figure it out.
If you bought was seemed to be a very very cheap N fare, there's a good chance you won't be able to make the same day change for a flat $100.
