I ordered two e-supercertificates from GC going through the AA mall this afternoon, around 3:45 CST. Since I have a reservation on hold with AA through Dec. 7 and would like to get the AA gift cards in hand to purchase this itinerary, I called GC's customer service to inquire whether they could expedite the e-mailing of the certificates. They could not find my order, either by name, e-mail, or cc#. Hmmm. They offered to take up the order again, which I declined. So, what else was left to do than go for a bike ride? Two hours later, I have another order confirmation from GC via e-mail. Now I'm left wondering whether I have an order and, if so, when it will arrive via e-mail. Interesting process.
