IIRC, the FAA requires the # of cabin crew members to be closest to (but not less than) the greater of a 50:1 pax-to-FA ratio or 1 FA per exit.

However, if you don't feel like dealing with that, dividing the max pax load by 50 is a good rule of thumb.
