Perhaps the reason that this incident wasn't reported upon is that the media no longer considers this type of TSA performance to be news?

Also, Rep. Dicks doesn't respond to unconfirmed blogs. If this had been fabricated, you can bet your bottom dollar that the TSA's side of the story would have been posted on their "Mythbusters" web page -- just like the sippy cup incident.
