You can use the ANA tool to search separately for LAX-AKL and AKL-NAN.

Thanks all for the clarification, that makes a lot of sense. After tinkering around with the dates, I finally got the tool to pop a flight up. I did not know that...
My plan is to do LAX-AKL-NAN-LAX or the other way around... So the LAX-AKL and the AKL-NAN parts are really easy to search over a long period of time. However the tool kind of bombs out on LAX-NAN searches... I can only do one date at a time per search (the scrolling arrows are what bomb out, they cannot skip to the next possible date...)
Any suggestions to not have to manually use a new search on each LAX-NAN flight per possible day?
