I'm not sure how being Asian has anything to do with it, but as a slim male (6'3" and 165#), I have found the same as the other posters that Euro suits generally do have a better fit. The only American designer that seems to work well for me is Joseph Abboud, although Brooks Borthers sometimes fits the bill. Otherwise, I find that Dior fits the best out of everything, but they tend to be rather pricy unless you can find them in a discount store (It happens, as I found 2 in a Filenes Basement in DC for under $1,000USD each...).
