I agree but be carefull as they may not be as generous as one thinks?
If you call the automated aeroplan line it says your "new" status BUT it tells you that you still have X miles left to qualify for 2008. So I wouldn't rest and assume nothing. I still have another 17,000 miles left before Dec.31st
