At least the UK does not charge when you Transit within 24 Hours. A RT Ticket via USA between Bahamas and Canada now requires almost $60 paid to the US. I just want to change planes, I dont want to stand in line for Fingerprinting, Photographs,Collect Bags, Clear Customs,Re-check Bags, Change Gate areas, Reclear Security...International Transiting via MIA,JFK or ORD makes LHR a Joy in comparison.
