Very clever catch! A quick tip with this, though: if your entire order is covered by the cost of the SuperCertificate, then it won't give you a chance to enter the coupon code. In my case, I was going to buy a $250 AA gift card with my $250 SuperCertificate, but I couldn't enter the coupon since no billing information was necessary. To get around this, I selected the expensive shipping option, which made the cost more than $250 and allowed me to enter the coupon code. Then, on the final page, I changed the shipping back to free, but the coupon code stuck. I was successfully able to order a $250 AA gift card for $225 on my SuperCert.
My concern is still receiving the MC promotion threshold bonus since somebody did post that no "external" (or something like that) coupon codes can be applied--they'd possibly nix the MC bonus.
