Comes down to total laziness, and I think you will find that all of the resident FA's agree. All of the formats you mention seems acceptable, and none should lead to irritation of any sort.

As a Y passenger I have only flown one Y transcon this year, and it was excellent, actually better than most of my F flights. I had an exit row seat with an empty middle and truly excellent service. The FA's passed through the cabin at least a dozen times with refills and when I asked for a Diet Pepsi it was immediately brought with a smile. Made me feel real good about flying Y.
