No there isn't.

HOWEVER...the flight disembarks out into the main terminal. You then follow the signs to immigration to go landside and pick up your bag.

If you have an hour to kill I would probably suggest wandering around the airside part of the terminal building first, then passing through immigration after an hour when the queues have died down and hopefully your friend has arrived.
