Richard: Agree with you substantially, and with 2Manymiles' comments as well. Double upgrade is, actually, when costs of certs is realized, a substantial cost anyway to the flier. We're not talking about big bucks in the differential. Mostly it's a class/consciousness thing. My feeling: If you've got the certs to use, why not let them use 'em. Double-upgrading is not a crime (You've seen the bumper sticker: "Skateboarding is not a crime".
