Overhead space, is very, very tight. If you are not one of the first three on a with a roller bag, you're bag is going plane side or in the back. Not to mention many flyer's idea of "standard carry-on" is so crazy, I can only hope their oversize carry on or garment bag hits them in the head as they try to shove in in the CRJ-900 and knock some sense into them
I can't stand the amount of INK PEN that people have managed to get on the seat backs in FC. Is it really that hard to control your friggen pen? I watched one doofas make a huge mark in 2-C the first time I flew the CR9. To this day, I've flow that bird 5 times, and I can always tell because of that mark.
The LED's are starting to yellow (or the covers are dusty), so the white is becoming less and less numbing.
I've taken 2 CR9 flights so far and definitely agree about the lack of carry-on space. On my first CR9 flight, we were departing MSP about 10:15pm. So, obviously, very dark outside but man was it bringt inside the plane! Also, the plane was freezing! Seems like there was a bit of a gap between the plane and the jet bridge, and the cold air was rushing in. The second (and last flight) I took was in the middle of the day, and the whiteness didn't seem as noticeable.
Dumb question, though, is there no closet in the galley or somewhere to hang coats for FC passengers? On my first flight, the FA just told me to throw it in the overhead bin. If this is the case, it seems like it'll make overhead storage all that more compact. I wonder if the E175 storage is better.
