I see nothing wrong with UA's no double upgrade policy. What is so bad about being upgraded from coach to business. They run a business, not a charity. Are you ever satisfied?

UA has their policies and you know what they are. Why should they dilute their product by double upgrades. Then no one would ever buy the first class ticket on a three class airplane. They would buy a COACH ticket and hope for a double upgrade. Does that make any sense?

Furthermore, if those first class seats are going to go empty because there are no passengers eligible to be upgraded to first, so what if they give them to employees. It is a perk of the job.
