Maybe it would cost them that to transport you..if the ticet is so cheap that they are not making a profit putting you in seat..or if they are just breaking even putting you in seat.
Fair question. I have a feeling that someone here on FT can actually tell us how much its costs to transport an extra body (let's say 175 pounds) plus a couple of bags PHL-LAX.
