It looks like we could easily take the tube from CDG to the Louvre area, without too much difficulty. Am I right? Or, are there issues that I am not seeing? Will we need Euros to buy the metro ticket at CDG? Or, will a credit/debit card suffice?
Thanks in advance for any and all info!
The "Tube" is the common name for the subway in London. In Paris the subway is called the "Metro".
The Metro does not go to CDG. There are five primary ways to get into Paris from CDG: Cab, Air France Bus (for anyone, not just AF passngers), RER train, Roissybus and private shuttle van.
You could take any of these to the Louvre area-I would take the AF bus to the Arc de Triomph, then the #1 Metro line to the Louvre.
