This is now standard for all Starwood brands in North America. It is in response to the recent spate of news reports. I think we would all rather you be able drink from sanitary cups, even if the aethetics is diminished.
2. Sheraton Boston now has the Westin coffee machine along with starbucks coffee that are just like Westins. Is this new as well?
These one-cup coffee machines are also going to be a brand standard for all Starwood hotels in North America, although I'm not so certain that the brand of coffee will be the same across the board.
