OK sorry I did not mean REGIONAL J. I meant non-transpacific J like I had from YVR to HKG on one of those Airbus planes that should not fly in bumpy weather. (From HKG to MEL we flew through two Typhoons and it was the most terrible experience I have ever had and lasted for several hours. In fact, since there was only two of us in F the pilot came out and tried to calm me down. The FA says she has never seen that before)

Anyway just got my F boarding pass HKG - YVR. Problem solved for that at least. I got really lucky. Bumps in MEL were because every flight from MEL to HKG is overbooked because of summer break for college kids. Who would of thought in December?!
