One thing I will say about Ruby Tuesdays is that they do set the standards of cleanliness. When I was in college, I spent a lot of time working in various kitchens. I cooked at the dining hall, did a catering gig for a while, worked at a couple of steakhouses, and even spent a summer as a traveling cook (first time I flew NW actually - part of the reason I fly them now). One of the certifications that I had was HAACP certification and a couple of the training videos we watched were produced by Ruby Tuesdays. From what I understand, RT's got some of the safest food in the industry - it keeps cold foods cold, hot foods hot, and accepts deliveries properly & timely so that the food doesn't potentially spoil. Everythings cooked to temperature as its supposed to be & they are industry leaders in terms of food safety & ensuring their kitchen managers are HAACP trained & certified. I travel weekly & try to avoid the chain restaurants like Chili's, Applebee's, Outback, TGIFriday's, etc, like the plague - but I'm usually willing to eat at a Ruby Tuesdays if that's one of the options because I know they are safe...
