There is a related thread on the NW forum as well. DTW-AMS (and AMS-DTW for that matter) is changing a bit. One NW flight is being replaced by KL metal, while another NW flight (67/68) will be operated with a 744 instead of a 333. As far as NW67/68 is concerned, it's good news for WBC pax and bad news for Y pax. The most important advantage that I see is having a wider choice: KL vs NW, A333 or A332 or B744 or B75A.
agreed, I probably still prefer the NW A330 option ...
